More than a year since the last "news" item. About that time again huh guys?

Age of Mythology Extended Edition was just released on Steam. Now there's an extension going on in my pants if you know what I mean.
Go to this thread if you want to join the fun.

It's the same glorious game that you may remember, with some graphical/other improvements and Steam integration. There are achievements this time too and day-night cycles! AMAZING right? They also added support for modern wide screen resolutions.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

oh yah i forgot what i hated most about this game, auto queue. it took away a lot of the focus from managing the economy and production which is something i liked being an accounting/business guy.

also the game always had day and night cycleess, it was turned off for the normal maps becausepeople found it annoying and distracting in competitive play but it could be turned on for custom maps.

The building auto-queue is still there. With that same green circular arrow as it used to be. I never liked it either myself. On the other hand, the day/night cycle for multiplayer maps is optional and can still be turned off so no worries.

No idea how many people play it now to be honest but there's some good activity about it on Steam.
